  • This is a federal program that helps supplement the diets of low-income people by providing them with emergency food assistance at no cost. USDA provides 100% American-grown USDA Foods and administrative funds to states to operate TEFAP. States provide the food to local agencies that they have selected, usually food banks, which in turn distribute the food to soup kitchens and food pantries that directly serve the public.

  • This is a meal delivery service that allows people to customize their own meals specific to their dietary needs and preferences. Medicaid and Medicare Advantage plan members are eligible for government or health plan assistance to receive home-delivered meals from Mom’s Meals at little or no cost. Many other health plans or local benefits programs will help pay for this service too.

  • GoPuff is offering two $25 off coupon codes with free delivery specifically for SNAP recipients in November through their app. Participants need to connect their EBT card to the app to purchase SNAP eligible groceries. The discount code for November 1st -15th is SNAPRELIEF and the discount code for November 16- 30 the code is SNAPRELIEF2. These codes are one time use only and only go to the first 200,000 recipients, so they are time sensitive.

  • This app connects people to discounted groceries up to 50% off. The items for purchase either overstocked items or items that are nearing their sale by date. Participants should download the app and locate the nearest grocery store with the program. Participants can shop on the app and go to their local store to pick up the items. If their grocery store is not listed, they can add it, and FlashFood will try to connect with the store to add the potentially add the service.
